Fondu Heated Ice Cream Scoop

Ice cream straight from the freezer fights back. Fondu doesn't. One press warms the stainless head to a precise 158°F in under 30 seconds, so the scoop glides through rock-hard ice cream, gelato and sorbet — and releases a clean, round scoop every time.

No bent spoons. No running it under hot water. No leaving the tub on the counter to soften.

Why it works

• Heats in under 30 seconds. Continuous heating holds the head at temperature while you serve — it doesn't cool down between scoops.
• You can see the temperature. A live readout shows the exact head temperature plus battery percentage and charge status.
• Up to 50 scoops per charge. Enough for a dinner party, not just a bowl.
• Food-safe where it matters. The stainless head is tested to FDA GRAS: arsenic, cadmium, lead and mercury all below detection limits.
• IPX7 water resistance. Rinse the scoop clean under the tap without worrying about it.

How to use it

1. Press once. One button starts heating. Watch the display climb to 158°F.
2. Glide through. The heat-conductive stainless head cuts straight into the tub and shapes a clean scoop.
3. Dock it. Set it back on the base to recharge. The 21700 lithium cell is rated for 2,000+ charge cycles.

Care

• Rinse and hand wash the scoop after use.
• Do not use water above 70°C / 158°F — hot water can damage the seals.
• Not dishwasher safe. Dishwashers combine heat, detergent and pressure well beyond what IPX7 covers.
• Don't leave it soaking for long periods.
• Keep the charging dock and its contacts dry.

Tested and certified

The scoop head is tested to FDA GRAS for food contact, with arsenic, cadmium, lead and mercury all below detection limits. The appliance carries RoHS and EMC certification for the EU and has been tested to UL 60335-1 for household appliance safety. The lithium cell holds IEC 62133 (CB) and UN 38.3 transport certification.

Warranty & support

Fondu includes defect support for normal household use. If your scoop arrives damaged or stops heating properly, email support@fonduco.com with your order number and a short photo or video. We will help with troubleshooting, replacement, refund, or warranty review.

Common questions

Can it go in the dishwasher?
No. Hand wash only. Dishwasher cycles exceed the temperature and pressure this appliance is rated for.

Can I rinse it under the tap?
Yes. It is rated IPX7, so rinsing the scoop is fine. Use water below 70°C / 158°F, don't leave it soaking, and keep the dock dry.

How many scoops on one charge?
Up to 50, depending on how hard the ice cream is and how long you keep it running between scoops.

How long does the battery last overall?
The cell is rated for 2,000+ full charge cycles.

Does it work on gelato and sorbet?
Yes — and on frozen yoghurt. Anything you'd normally need to wait out on the counter.

Is the handle hot to hold?
No. Only the stainless head heats; the handle stays at a comfortable temperature.
