Fondu is an electric kitchen accessory. Before scaling paid ads or selling into additional regions, keep the product record, packaging, and website aligned with the certification and safety requirements for each market.
Customer-facing care guidance
- Cleaning: wipe the scoop head with a soft damp cloth. Do not put the electric handle in a dishwasher and do not submerge it.
- Charging: keep the charging port dry and charge only with a compatible low-voltage USB power source.
- Use: keep away from children, avoid prolonged direct contact with the heated edge, and discontinue use if damaged.
EU readiness checklist
- GPSR information: add manufacturer identity, physical address, electronic contact, product identifiers, batch/serial details, safety warnings, and required local-language instructions before EU advertising.
- Responsible Person: appoint and display an EU-based Responsible Person if the manufacturer is outside the EU.
- Electrical and waste marks: confirm CE and WEEE obligations with a qualified compliance partner before EU sales.
US readiness checklist
- FCC/electrical review: confirm applicable equipment authorization, emissions testing, labeling, and manual requirements before importing or marketing at scale.
- Claims discipline: do not advertise dishwasher-safe, waterproof, or certified claims unless backed by current lab documentation.
